Simply head to the Extreme Tipping website, select the green LOG IN button, and in the top menu, select JOIN A NEW COMP.
This will then take you to an active Competitions Page where you can select NRL 2025 TIPPING CHAMPIONSHIP.
The Secret Code to join is: NRL2025 to unlock the JOIN button.

NEW PLAYERS ONLY!

Simply head to the Extreme Tipping website, select the red Sign Up button, and submit your information!
Note: make sure JOIN NRL TIPPING is selected before submitting.
It should be by default!

This will then add you to NRL 2025 TIPPING CHAMPIONSHIP & you are ready to go!

You don't have to do anything apart from pay your joining fee & submit your predictions by Sun 2nd March 2025 (2025 NRL Season kick off between Raiders v Warriors from Las Vegas).

Any Tipsters NOT PAID by 2nd March (NRL Kickoff) will be removed from the Competition.

TIPPING MATCHES

Tips for each game can be entered or edited at any time prior to the nominated game commencement time as published on the site.

Under no circumstances will tips be accepted after a game has commenced.

If tippers do not enter tips for a game, round or join after the season has commenced they will be allocated the default score (see below).

What you need to know about Tipper Rankings

Tippers will be firstly ranked by their weekly score, where the highest score is the highest rank.

Weekly winners (no prize) will be determined by the user's weekly score for the round, then by a tippers 'Round Margin' and then by their 'Total Margin'.

End of season winners will be determined by total score, and then by their 'Total Margin' (and if drawn the prize/s will be shared).

Total Rounds: 27 Rounds + Finals

Correct tip: 1 Point

Incorrect tip: 0 points

Drawn Game: 0 points (Incorrect tip)

All Correct Bonus: 4 Points* (Tip all Matches in a Round Correct)

The cut-off time for entering your tips for each match is that game's start time - so if you don't get your tips in by the start of the round, you can still enter them for the remaining fixtures.

You can change your tips up until the cut-off time for each match.

If you don't enter your tips for a match, you miss out on points for that game altogether. No default selections.

If you don't enter any of your tips for a round, you will be awarded the lowest score for that round.

Most Rounds throughout the season will have 8 matches with one team receiving a BYE each week. Some Rounds will have less due games to the State of Origin period.

State of Origin matches are also included in some of the shortened Rounds (13, 16 & 19). State of Origin matches are included in All Correct Calculations.

* All Correct Bonus does not double to 8 point if a Joker is played.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE "X tips of 8 made for this round" STATUS TEXT AT THE TOP & BOTTOM OF THE TIPPING PAGE BEFORE YOU LEAVE.

This will confirm that your tips have been registered on the server and locked in.

Top 8 Finals Series

Once again, like last season, the value of correct FINALS match tips will increase over the weeks as the stakes rise.

Qualifying and Elimination Finals (Week 1)

4x Matches

Corrects Tips increase from 1 point to 2 points

Semi-finals (Week 2) & Preliminary finals (Week 3)

4x Matches

Corrects Tips increase from 2 points to 4 points

Grand Final (Week 4)

1x Match

Corrects Tip increases from 4 points to 5 points

No All Corrects are awarded during the Finals Series.

No Joker Rounds can be played during the Finals Series.

Match Delays / Postponements

In the unlikely event of a match or matches being postponed & re-scheduled to another week of the season, they will remain in their original Round. The Matches (& Round) will remain Open for Tipping Changes and then will be marked COMPLETE after the match or matches have been played. Any pending All Correct Bonuses will also be awarded at this point.

WINNING MARGINS

In every round, you must predict the Winning Margin for the first match. The Winning Margin is used as a tiebreaker to separate tipsters who've racked up the same number of points, and will accumulate over the course of the season.

The Winning Margin is like a golf score: the lower the score, the better.

By default, your Winning Margin is 1 when you select the home or away team to win.

You can adjust the Winning Margin using the +1 and +10 (or -1 & -10).

The Winning Margin is calculated based on the Team that you have selected (Correct or Incorrect) & the Winning Margin you have selected.

For example:

If you picked the Home Team to win by 10 points & the Home Team wins by 10. Your Winning Margin Score for the round is 0.

If you picked the Home Team to win by 10 points & the Home Team wins by 14. Your Winning Margin Score for the round is 4.

If you picked the Home Team to win by 10 points & the Home Team wins by 6. Your Winning Margin Score for the round is 4.

If you picked the Home Team to win by 10 points but the Away Team wins by 2. Your Winning Margin Score for the round is 12 (10 + 2).

DOUBLE POINT JOKERS

Each Tipster will get the opportunity to play 3 Joker Rounds during the Regular Season of 27 Rounds.

The Tipster can select their Joker at the bottom of the TIP NOW! page. These must be played before the Round kicks off. You cannot apply a Joker midway through a Round.

Any 4 point bonuses received for picking an All Correct does not double with the Joker.
Max Joker All Correct Total will be 20 points (8 games x2 + 4 All Correct Bonus)

Once the Finals Series begin, you cannot play any Jokers that you have remaining.

BONUS POOLS TABLES & FUTURES PREDICTIONS

A BONUS CASH PRIZE of $200 aud will be awarded for each POOL winner.

Tie Breakers
If tied on total points, winner determined by Margin score
If tied on Margin score, winner determined by overall leaderboard position
If leaderboard position shows Tipsters are tied on both leaderboard points & margin, prize will be shared.

The Pools Tables will be drawn between 2nd-3rd March when final numbers are locked in & decided.
How many Pools & how many Tipsters per Pool is determined on total numbers participating.

Please Note: Bonus points for Predictions will be added to the Pools Tables ONLY and don't count towards the main Championship Table. They will added to your totals as each outcome is confirmed near the end of the season.

For the first time this season, the Competition will be broken up into FIVE PHASES;

ROUNDS 01-05 (WARM UP ROUNDS)

Every Tipster can choose up to 3 Teams from 3 different matches!

- You only require 1 of your selected teams to win or draw (after golden point) to go through to next Round. 

- If (somehow) all your teams lose, you are eliminated! 😐
- No Picks is an automatic elimination, this helps us quickly eradicate those Tipsters who don't read their emails, the comp rules or our admin updates.
- The same teams can be selected each week, regardless of whether they win or lose the week before.

ROUNDS 06-11 (DOUBLE CHANCE ROUNDS)

Every Tipster can choose up to 2 Teams from 2 different matches!

- You only require 1 of your selected teams to win or draw (after golden point) to go through to next Round. 

- If both teams lose, you are eliminated.
- No Picks is an automatic elimination.

- Slight Rule Tweak: The same teams can be selected each week, regardless of whether they win or lose the week before.

ROUNDS 12-19 (SURVIVAL ROUNDS)
Every Tipster can only choose 1 team!

- Your selected team must to win or draw (after golden point) to go through to next Round. 

- If your selected team loses, you are eliminated.
- No Pick is an automatic elimination.

- You cannot select the same team in two consecutive weeks! A table at the bottom of the Knockout page will display the team you selected the Round Before.

ROUNDS 20-27 (CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS)
Every Tipster can only choose 1 team!

- Two to Three matches will be removed per Rounds pending on level of difficulty.

- Your selected team must to win or draw (after golden point) to go through to next Round. 

- If your selected team loses, you are eliminated.
- No Pick is an automatic elimination.

- You cannot select the same team in two consecutive weeks! A table at the bottom of the Knockout page will display the team you selected the Round Before.

FINALS WEEK 01 to the GRAND FINAL (If any tipsters make it this far...)
(TIE-BREAKER ROUNDS)

Every Tipster can only choose 1 team!

- Your selected team must to win or draw (after golden point) to go through to next Round. 

- If your selected team loses, you are eliminated.
- No Pick is an automatic elimination.

- You cannot select the same team in two consecutive weeks, with the exception of the GRAND FINAL! A table at the bottom of the Knockout page will display the team you selected the Round Before.

If all remaining Tipsters are all eliminated in the same week, the remaining Tipsters will try again the following week until there is only one left standing.

The KO Prize is shared if all Remaining Tipsters pick the Grand Final winner!

PLEASE NOTE!

You only have ONE CHANCE to submit your entry per week so please PICK WISELY! 

Once it's submitted, it's locked in regardless of Injuries / Weather announcements made before the Round kicks off. No exceptions! Multiple entries in one week wont be allowed and any New entries in the same week will be completely ignored.

No team/s submitted before the Round deadline will result in an automatic elimination!

I will share regular updates on the change in Phases, Eliminations & Teams Picked before each Round starts & Share everyone's Knockout Teams each round before it starts.

Form will be automatically turned off at Kickoff of each Round (normally Thurs 7:50pm (AET)

Winners/s Declared & In The Event of a Tie (Both Championship & Pools)

If Tipster's are TIED on TOTAL points, the lowest Margin points will determine placings.

If Tipster's are still TIED on both TOTAL points & Margin Points, the prize will be shared.

There will be Tipping reminders sent out every week via the Extreme Tipping's NRL Tipping Championship FACEBOOK GROUP. Make sure you have joined to see and receive these.

There is the option to tip ahead on Extreme Tipping so if you are planning on going away on holiday, take the responsibility to tip in advance for as long as you are away.
