A BRAND NEW NRL SEASON begins in just over a month's time as we countdown to the kickoff to the 2018 season with the St.George Illawarra Dragons facing off against the Brisbane Broncos on Thursday March 8th!
We have a lot of squad changes this season with so many questions around player movements - who will improve on their 2017 efforts? Who will be worse off?
Everyone is talking about the Sydney Roosters - with the inclusion of Ex-Melbourne Storm Champion halfback Cooper Cronk and Ex-Wests Tigers and the current NSW fullback, James Tedesco 😖. All eyes will be on the boys from Bondi, that's for sure.

Woodens Spooners for past 3 years the Newcastle Knights have also massively bolstered their squad in 2018 and could find themselves at the business end of the season for the first time since 2013.

In our 2018 NRL TIPPING COMPETITION, we also some slight changes going on.
For the first time we will be rewarding a prize to the tipster with the LOWEST MARGIN. This keeps everyone in the game till the bitter end - you could in the bottom half of the table, but still have a far superior margin to everyone else! It doesn't take much to blow your margin game (one selected match per round) so treat this game as gold every weekend! Based on final results last year, our best five lowest margins were placed 8th, 2nd, 32nd, 28th & 13th so it goes to show this can be won from any spot on the table.
Our BONUS POOLS PREDICTIONS has an added element too. We have added the final 4 Preliminary Finalists (the last four teams playing for Grand Final places) to the predictions list. This takes our grand total of Bonus Points up to 68. This is the most Bonus points we've ever had on offer in this competition making it a true separate Bonus contest to our Tipping Championship. Make sure you do your homework & study the player movements before sending through your Bonus Predictions for 2018 to me.
The blogsite has just had a 2018 update with all the 2017 results now archived. We are heading into our 15th season in NZTiger's NRL Tipping Competition so a lot of history for new and old tipsters to look back on.
Be sure to invite your friends and family, it'd be great if we could break the 80+ mark. The highest we've ever had is 82 in 2012 so it would be great to break that mark in 2018.
